Today is my birthday.
So I’m taking the day off.

But I’m working on something big for next week, and I could use your input.
Last June I left my role as a Partner at one of the leading ID consultancies in the San Francisco Bay Area to chart my own path.
I started Anson Cheung Design LLC (creative, I know) on July 18th 2022. I wanted to continue practicing my craft with high-value industrial design consulting, but I also wanted to explore the world of making money on the internet through content creation.
After 1 year, I’m taking stock of how things have gone financially, and I want to share it with you. Next week on this newsletter I’ll be publishing an income report of what my business made (and spent) in it’s first year.
I was inspired by creators like Pat Flynn and Jay Clouse who share their numbers transparently so their audiences can benefit.
Hopefully you might get some insights about the business of design and content from my numbers. Or maybe I’ll learn something from you if you point out something that’s awry.
